Replication of a kettle hat from about 1340 AD. This kind of kettle hats was very popular with foot soldiers in Central Europe during the 14th and 15th centuries.
The helmet is handcrafted from 1.6 mm thick steel. A riveted, high-quality and adjustable soft padded liner and a chin strap are included.
The helmet is available in sizes M and L.

Sehr guter Helm, der etwas zu klein ausfällt.
Dieser Eisenhut passt stilistisch schön in die Mitte des 14. Jahrhunderts und ist gut verarbeitet. Er ist nicht zu schwer und kann auch über Stunden hinweg angenehm getragen werden. Bei der Größe muss man allerdings aufpassen: sie fällt zu klein aus, denn ich habe einen Kopfumfang von 59cm und mir passt der Helm in M ohne zusätzliche Polsterhaube wie angegossen - und der soll bis 61cm gehen! Dennoch absolute Kaufempfehlung!
