Viking Pants / Rus’ Pants, Herringbone, brown

Loose-fitted Viking trousers are certainly one of the most important pieces of clothing for an authentic portrayal of a Viking or a Slav. Pictorial evidence of their existence can be found for example on some of the Gotlandic picture stones.

These calf-length Viking-style trousers are made of a wool blend with herringbone weave. Their cut is based on archaeological finds from Hedeby (Haithabu) and is characterized by the numerous pleats at the waistband, which create a baggy look.

The pants are cut tighter around the calves, making it perfect for adding winningas (legs wraps). They do not have a fly at the waist, and are gathered and held with a belt for an individual fit (the belt is NOT included).
