Cooking on an open fire is now becoming increasingly popular. Re-enactors engage in this activity somewhat out of necessity, as it is quite simply an inherent part of historical re-enactment. But campfires are also quite in vogue in private gardens, on recreational lots and hiking trails - not only for romantic purposes, but also for food preparation.

This authentic grilling and cooking rack can be easily put over a fire. The legs are pointed for easier insertion into the ground. The blacksmith also incorporated a hole in each leg, about 10 cm above the tip. This makes it possible to maintain an even height of the rack over the fire, even when the ground is softer or the pots heavy. To adjust, you just need to insert a nail, a stick or a tent peg through each hole. The bars of the grid are slidable, allowing you to adjust the interval between each bar as needed. You can grill on it, heat pots and pans or fry directly on the riveted-on side griddle.

Folded and packed away, this outdoor cooker is extremely space-saving and therefore the perfect companion for any camp kitchen.
