Leather Gloves / Mittens for Sparring and Combat Re-enactment, Pair

The gauntlets or mittens we offer here are specifically designed for fencing, sparring and combat re-enactment purposes, and will minimize the risk of injuries while still providing enough mobility to wield a sword or shield. They are particularly well-suited for practising Viking combat techniques.

They are made of sturdy, vegetable tanned leather, and the back of the hand is protected by additional 5 mm thick leather scales. The gloves may feel somewhat stiff at first, however, with proper leather care and regular use, they will quickly become softer and more supple.

These protective gloves can be fastened with an adjustable strap and buckle closure at the wrist for an individual fit.
