Viking Trefoil-Shaped Cloak Ornament Värnamo
Trefoil brooches were part of the clothing and ornamentation almost throughout the entire Viking Age. They were usually worn by women in the middle of the chest. Fittingly, 2 hump or bowl fibulae adorned the costume to the left and right. This vestment clasp is a replica of a brooch from the Viking Age found in Värnamo/Sweden.
On the back side there is a strong pin as well as an eyelet for attaching e.g. chains.
