Fiebing's Leather Dye, Black, 118 ml Bottle

Fiebing's Leather Dye is the most widely used alcohol-based leather dye worldwide. This premium smooth leather dye penetrates deep into the leather, dries evenly and is easy to mix. It was specifically formulated for untreated leather and provides excellent and permanent coverage. Ideal for dyeing or re-dyeing shoes, bags, etc.

Directions for use:
Clean leather thoroughly with a deglazer to remove all old polish and finish.
While damp from cleaning, apply dye evenly with a wool dauber. To dye greater surfaces, the use of a sponge, a Chamois leather cloth or an airbrush is best. A second coat of dye may be applied as needed.
After dyeing, remove excess dye by rubbing briskly with a soft cloth. If you wish to seal the dyed leather, let it dry completely for a few days before polishing off the excess colour. For sealing (and high gloss), we recommend Fiebing's Resolene protective acrylic finish.

Please note:
- The colour may vary depending on the tanning method and the absorbency of the leather to be dyed. The slower the dye is applied, and the more you use, the deeper it penetrates and the darker it becomes.
- This dye is NOT suitable for dyeing furniture or seats! It is also NOT possible to re-dye finished / dressed leather.
