High-Medieval Spangenhelmet with face-plate, 2 mm steel

This is a fully battle-ready helmet in the style of a high-medieval Spangenhelm as worn by Normans or crusaders. The face plate as well as the calotte are hammered from 2mm strong steel. Both helmet halves are welded together. Additionally three overlapping steel strips, the spangen, and a solid face plate are riveted to the helmet. This manufacture ensures high robustness and good protection in battle. The helmet has a riveted, adjustable, high-class padded liner with solid chin strap from leather and a brass buckle.

Available in sizes M and L.

Fantastischer Helm für Mittelalterfans

Es gibt zahlreiche Mittelalterhelme, aber dieser ist etwas ganz Besonderes. Der Helm war das i-Tüpfelchen meiner Mittelalterausrüstung für Freikampf und Schaukampf und hat mich in jeder Hinsicht überzeugt - so wie immer bei Produkten von Ulfberth. Lieferung: Top, wie gewohnt zuverlässig und schnell. Auspacken: Der Helm war eingeölt und in Folie sowie Luftkissen verpackt. Optik: Das Bild zeigt alles. Böse, furchterregend und perfekt für das Hochmittelalter. Verarbeitung: Polierter, schöner und vor allem stabiler Stahl. Die Herstellerangaben stimmen absolut. Die 52 Nieten halten alles bombenfest, nichts wackelt. Inlay aus Textil, mit verstellbarem Zugband - Eine Bundhaube wird jedoch empfohlen. Kinnriemen aus stabilem Leder. Passform: Beachten Sie die Herstellerangaben. Größe L von 58-62 cm Kopfumfang. Mein Kopfumfang ist 59 cm und mit Bundhaube passt es perfekt. Ohne wackelt es und mit Kettenhaube ist es zu eng. Bei einem Kopfumfang von 62 cm würde ich eine größere Größe empfehlen, falls verfügbar. Kampftauglichkeit: Absolut gegeben. Ich habe den Helm im Kampf getestet und einige heftige Schläge eingesteckt. Abgesehen von Kratzern und leichten Dellen (die ein 'echter Ritter' natürlich haben muss) gab es keine Schäden. Klare Kaufempfehlung!
