Beautiful replica of a late medieval mace. Those maces, also known as mallets, have been used by infantry as well as cavalry as a weapon. Maces were very effectively against plate armour, but scorned by the higher social classes. This mace with six pointed limbs is entirely made of steel. The master to this replica is displayed today at the British Museum in London. Our replica is made for decoration purposes only and is not a fighting weapon.
