Roman Belt Buckle, Tekija Pattern, Tinned Brass
This richly adorned, pre-punched belt buckle is based on a find from the Flavian period (second half of the 1st century A.D.). The original artefact, found in Serbia near Tekija / Tekije (part of the province of Pannonia in Ancient Rome) belonged to a Roman legionary's cingulum or balteus.
This authentic replica of a Roman belt fitting is cast from brass and tin-plated. The brass buckle is perfectly suited for your own DIY project or as a replacement/spare buckle for Roman belts, for example our Tekija belt (Product No. 1616672600). Mounting hardware is not included in delivery.
