Shoulder Fur made of Nordic Sheepskin, white with spots
As the winter was approaching and the Viking nights became longer and darker again, it was time to prepare. After long raids for food and riches, the men returned to their villages to stay for the winter and spread the story of their triumphs.
Even the Vikings in those days had to dress warmly enough, as we know it today, to avoid falling victim to the cold.
But what options did they had?
Animal fur, which is nowadays more of a decorative accessory found on the floor, was a very popular resource in medieval times. Especially in winter, hides were probably a warming marvel. But even when the days became longer again and the sun appeared more often, pelts could still be used, for instance as a seat pad to make a chair or stool more comfortable.
This shoulder fur is perfect for getting a step closer to a wild warrior or a brave Viking. Whether at a Viking festival or a medieval market, with this shoulder fur no cold will get in your way.
As our furs are natural products, slight variations in colour, hair length or size are completely normal. They are untreated and therefore free of chemicals. Due to the adapted shape of shoulders and neck, there are no kinks and the fur does not protrude. So nothing stands in the way of the next big event!
Details:
- Hair length: approx. 10 – 15 cm
- Colour: white with spots
