Medieval Dress Meira with Velvet Details, Black
This floor-length dress is loosely cut and is individually adjusted to the body by means of lacing at the waist and back. The undersides of the sleeves also have lacing and can be adjusted.
The details trimmed with cotton velvet such as the hem, shoulder yoke and stand-up collar give the dress a stately character. The skirt part is flared and swings beautifully due to the wide velvet hem.
This medieval lace-up dress is versatile and offers a great basis to build up a costume from medieval to gothic to LARP.
Velvet appeared in the 14th century in the Mediterranean region and was mainly woven in Italy. The elaborate way it was made and also the fact that this fabric was mostly made of silk made velvet robes exclusive garments. Velvet was very popular in Burgundian fashion and during the Renaissance.
- Available sizes: S, M, L, XL, XXL
- Colour: black
- Material: 100% cotton

Cotton velvet should not be put in the washing machine, as velvet will then wrinkle irrevocably. Velvet should also not be ironed as this will cause the pile to lose its depth. We recommend brushing out light stains with a clothes brush in the direction of the pile. For coarser stains, we recommend taking the dress to the dry cleaner.
