A very true to the original replica of a 17th century burgonet with visor. The original of this helmet is on display at the Royal Armouries in Leeds.
The helmet (incl. visor) is crafted from 1.6 mm thick steel. The visor is locked with forged hooks. The helmet is lined soft fabric.

Mantelhelm 1600 - 1635
Ich habe den Helm vor einem Jahr im Amazonshop von Battlemerchant gekauft. Also eine solch gute Qualität aus Indien und das für diesen Preis, das hätte ich nicht erwartet. Die Originale befinden sich im "Bayerischen Armeemuseum" in Ingolstadt, zusammengestellt mit den 3/4 Harnischen der Pappenheimer Kürassiere aus den 30-jährigen Krieg.
