Closed Burgonet, 17th c., 1.6 mm steel
A very true to the original replica of a 17th century burgonet with visor. The original of this helmet is on display at the Royal Armouries in Leeds.
The helmet (incl. visor) is crafted from 1.6 mm thick steel and closes with an authentic brass buckle and a leather strap around the neck, as shown on the pictures. The visor is locked with forged hooks. The helmet is lined soft fabric.
