Roman Belt Plate, She-Wolf with Romulus and Remus, Brass
This rectangular belt plate is crafted from thin sheet brass and pre-punched for easy mounting to a Roman legionary's cingulum or balteus. It is embossed with the motif of the famous female wolf (or lupa romana) nursing the twins Romulus and Remus, recorded in Roman mythology as the founders of the city of Rome.
This belt fitting is ideal for your own DIY Roman belt project or as a replacement/spare plate. It can be combined on the same belt with our Human Head plate (available separately, Product No. 1616757200). Mounting hardware is not included in delivery.
